BLOK is a calm, minimalist physics-skill game about one small cube and a very long way up. You float over a sea of mist, standing on a tall pillar. Somewhere ahead, another pillar waits with a glowing frame on top. Your job is simple: get there. Pull back on the screen to aim, then let go. The cube launches, tumbles through the air and, if your aim is true, lands on the marked block. Every successful landing scores a point and builds the next pillar in front of you. Land right in the center and you earn a perfect landing: a shockwave ripples out, a bright chord rings and you get a bonus point. It sounds easy, and for a while it is. Then the world starts pushing back. Platforms shrink and drift farther apart. Some slide up and down, some sway from side to side, and some crumble the moment you land. Stacked blocks make the edges tricky. Tall poles rise between pillars and force you to arc your jump higher, and hanging blocks hover over the gap and demand a low, flat shot. Round, hexagonal and square tops each ask for a slightly different feel. One miss and the run is over, so every jump counts. As you climb, the scenery changes. BLOK takes you through four hand-tinted worlds: Pink Mist, Frozen Vale, Crimson Realm and Midnight Garden. Colors, fog, background towers and floating dust blend smoothly from one world to the next. Each world has its own mood and its own soft, generative ambient music that never repeats the same way twice. Every landing plays a note from the current world’s scale, so a clean run slowly turns into a little melody. BLOK is made to be picked up in seconds and played for as long as you like.
