Escape the Monster drops you at the bottom of a fifty-floor maze lair with one job: find the exit before whatever is hunting you does. Four monster types patrol these halls and each one plays differently — one chases the second it spots you, one waits and ambushes, and one walks straight through walls no matter where you hide. Dark floors strip your view entirely, so you'll be reading the music cue instead of the map. Grab gems as you run for extra hearts and unlockable gear, hunt down the occasional crown to open a locked door, and grab a mask when you can — it stuns the next monster that touches you instead of costing you a life. Clear all fifty floors to reach daylight, then keep going in Endless mode and see how deep you can push your streak.

How to play

Reach the green exit door on each floor before the monster closes in. You start with three hearts, and every ten floors is a safe checkpoint with no monster on it at all. The longer you linger on a floor, the faster the monster moves, so keep pushing forward. Gems buy extra hearts on safe floors and unlock new cosmetics between runs. Some exits stay sealed until you track down that floor's crown. Endless mode opens up after floor nine once you're ready for a real leaderboard run.
