Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using the Word Paths mobile application (“the App”), operated by us (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian to make sure you both understand them.

2. License to Use the App

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes on a device that you own or control.

3. Account & Online Features

Some features of the App, such as multiplayer modes and leaderboards, may require an anonymous or registered account. You are responsible for any activity that occurs through your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or abusively.

4. User Conduct

When using the App, you agree not to:

• Use cheats, exploits, automation software (bots), hacks, mods, or any unauthorized third-party software to modify or interfere with the App.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users, including through offensive usernames or messages in multiplayer or social features.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, systems, or other users' accounts.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App, in whole or in part, for any user who violates these Terms.

5. Virtual Items and In-App Purchases

The App may offer virtual items, currency, or features, whether earned through gameplay or purchased. Virtual items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are licensed to you, not sold. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue virtual items or in-app purchase offerings at any time. All purchases are subject to the payment terms and refund policies of the applicable app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store).

6. Advertising

The App is supported in part by advertising provided through third-party ad networks, including Google AdMob and Yandex Mobile Ads. By using the App, you acknowledge that you may be shown advertisements, including personalized advertisements where permitted by applicable law and your device settings.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its game design, graphics, text, puzzles, audio, code, and all related intellectual property, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted in Section 2, no rights are transferred to you.

8. User-Generated Content

If the App allows you to submit content (such as a username, custom room name, or message), you retain ownership of that content, but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it as necessary to operate the App. You are solely responsible for any content you submit and agree it will not be unlawful, offensive, or infringe on the rights of others.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise harmful to us or third parties. You may stop using the App at any time.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

12. Changes to the App and These Terms

We may update, modify, or discontinue the App, or any part of it, at any time. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App or on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in our place of business, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, unless otherwise required by mandatory local consumer protection laws applicable to you.

14. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Please refer to our Privacy Policy, Section 6 (“Account & Data Deletion Requests”), or simply email [email protected] with the subject line “Data Deletion Request - Word Paths” to submit your request.
