Developer privacy policy
How we handle data tied to your Developer account, separate from the general site privacy policy.
Last updated: August 2026
This page covers data tied to your Developer account — sign-in, submissions, and dashboards. It sits alongside, and doesn't replace, the general Privacy Policy, which covers playkovo.com as a whole.
Account data
Signing up with Google gives us the name, email, and profile image Google shares for authentication. Signing up with email and password gives us the email address and a securely hashed password — we never see or store your password in plain text.
Submission data
When you submit a game, we store what you provide: the build itself, store-listing text and media, and any rights or licensing information you give us on request during review. We use this only to review, host, and display your game, and to respond if a rights complaint comes in about it.
Dashboard and metrics
Your Studio dashboard shows play counts, ad request/impression figures, and (once revenue share is live) earnings for your own games. These figures are derived from gameplay and ad-serving events tied to your games, not to individual players' identities.
API keys
If you generate an API key for SDK integration, we store it so we can authenticate requests from your game. Treat it like a password — anyone with your key can act as your game. You can revoke and regenerate a key at any time from your dashboard.
Payout data
Revenue share is not active yet, so we do not currently collect payout details (bank, PayPal, tax forms). When it launches, this section will be updated before any such information is requested, and it will only be used to pay you and to meet our own tax-reporting obligations.
Who we share it with
We rely on trusted service providers to operate the Developer Console — authentication, database hosting, and file storage — who process this data only to help us run the platform. We do not sell developer data. We may disclose it if required by law, or where necessary to investigate a security incident or a rights complaint against a submitted game.
Your choices
You can update your profile, revoke API keys, and unpublish your games yourself from the Developer Console. To close your account and request deletion of your account data, contact us — we'll keep only what we're legally required to retain (e.g., records tied to an unresolved rights complaint).
